What Does Your Community Have to Offer?

Combining your resources-whatever they may be- with your neighbors' resources may help as you seek to create change in your community. In this post, we'll look at four categories of resources that may help you take stock of everything available to you.

Know Your Neighborhood?

We need to approach our neighborhoods as learners intent on being open to the reality of the place and the presence that the Holy Spirit has already established in it. Learn to ask questions about where your community has been and how it's changed. Seek out evidence of the Holy Spirit's work in the hearts and minds of the others around you.

Can You Relate?

What does relating to everyone mean in a practical sense? How do we make an effort to know our neighbors? This starts with an introduction and with remembering their names. We can work toward having genuine relational encounters with the people in our geographical space.

Rooted in Christ

I learned early on that in order to bear the fruit that glorifies God, we must be rooted in Christ. This is the introduction to a series on what it means to be rooted. Enjoy the journey with me!
